Combining quality craftmanship, attention to detail and carefully selected materials; James Long designs and makes visually engaging pieces of furniture. Inspired by natural forms and shapes, his ultimate aim is to create pieces that not only fullifll the users needs, but that also provide an asthetic statement of individuality.

James recently completed a Foundation Degree in Furniture Design and Craft at the Rycotewood Furniture Centre in Oxford. He plans to continue studying for another year in order to gain a full BA (Hons) degree.

Along side his studies, James has completed work experience with Waywood Furniture and is currently working with Robin Furlong in order to further hone his skills.
